Situated in the thriving Port of Zhejiang, the Port of Zhejiang Terminal serves as a critical hub for global energy logistics. This state-of-the-art storage facility boasts three multi-purpose distillation units, with a total storage capacity exceeding 2,000,000 tons, ensuring seamless handling of crude oil, refined petroleum, and petrochemical products. The terminal efficiently processes parcel sizes ranging from 1,000 to 500,000 tons, with an advanced on-site laboratory dedicated to quality assurance and test distillations for optimal refining.
The Port of Zhejiang Terminal is closely connected with major crude oil terminals and refineries in the region. Tankers offload crude oil at terminals in Zhoushan and Ningbo, where it is blended to meet refinery specifications before being transported via pipeline infrastructure. Approximately 40% of the crude oil processed at the terminal is supplied to refineries within Zhejiang, including major industry players such as Zhejiang Petroleum & Chemical, Sinopec, and CNOOC. The remaining 60% is distributed to refineries in Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Fujian, ensuring a steady supply chain across the region.
